The college is registered under Sahakara Bhishma Shri K.H.Patil Memorial Trust.The Sahakara Bhishma Shri K. H. Patil Memorial Trust, Bengaluru is constituted with the noble objective to establishing educational institutions in diverse disciplines; to become a hub of excellence in academics and research; to promote integration and dissemination of knowledge; to empower youth, make them self reliant and train them for competitive examinations; to promote activities for the holistic development of society with emphasis on development of downtrodden and economically weaker sections; to institute scholarships, fellowships and other incentives for deserving candidates and institutions; adopt villages and strive for their welfare; bring out publications and arrange special lectures; to create infrastructure for public good, etc. The Trust is established for the benefit of citizens of India without discrimination on the ground of religion, caste, sex or creed. Appreciating the fact that transformation of society is possible through laws, as a first step, the Trust has started the K. H. Patil School of Law at Bengaluru.
